Twenty five students from across the South East geopolitical zone have each received ₦1,000,000 in scholarship funds from De Imperial Philanthropic Family (DIPF), following a rigorous merit based selection process linked to performance in the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

The awards were presented at the 2025 DIPF Scholarship Award Ceremony on Thursday, 12 February 2026, in Awka, Anambra State. Candidates were first required to score 250 and above in the 2025 UTME before sitting a further competitive scholarship examination conducted by Best Brain Contest on behalf of DIPF. Five students were selected from each South East state strictly on merit.

DIPF National President, High Chief Dr. Sir Darlington Nwabunike, congratulated the recipients and urged them to remain disciplined and focused. He described education as a strategic pathway to youth empowerment, regional advancement, and nation building.

Chairman of the DIPF Education Committee, Chief Chikezie Okonkwo, praised the students for their academic brilliance and commended Best Brain Contest, owned by Dr. Frank Igbojindu, for conducting the selection process with professionalism and transparency.
