Teesas Education has opened two new JAMB tutorial centres in Ikota, Lagos State, and along Egbu Road in Imo State, increasing its total number of learning centres to four across the country.

A statement issued on Tuesday described the expansion as a reinforcement of the organisation’s commitment to providing high quality, technology driven learning to students preparing for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination. The statement also positioned Teesas as one of the fastest growing UTME tutorial providers in Nigeria.

Thousands of students have accessed Teesas’ hybrid learning model, which combines physical classes delivered by expert tutors with online coaching for those unable to attend in person sessions. The centres feature modern, high tech learning tools, including interactive boards that transform traditional lessons into engaging, multi sensory experiences. These boards allow tutors to display multimedia content, such as Teesas’ tutorial videos, which are designed to improve student engagement and information retention.

Since launching its JAMB tutorial centres in 2024, Teesas Education has achieved notable results, with over 97 per cent of its students scoring above 200 in the UTME. Additionally, 25 per cent of students scored above 300, placing the organisation among the top performing UTME tutorial providers in the country.

The Founder and Chairman of Teesas Education, Mr Osayi Izedonmwen, explained the thinking behind the expansion. “Our goal is simple. We want to give every child the best chance at securing admission into their dream university,” he said. “These new centres allow us to support even more students with in person tutoring that is structured, engaging, and proven to deliver results.”

Students have also testified to the programme’s impact. Sixteen year old Onyemwennosa Iyamu credited Teesas Learning Centre with playing a key role in her UTME success, noting that the tutors covered additional topics beyond what she was taught in school.
