This is your last chance to sit for the UTME this year. This examination is for candidates who ran into verified technical problems during the main 2026 UTME. It is for candidates who had biometric verification failures, who suffered system crashes at CBT centers, or other disruptions that were officially recorded and acknowledged by JAMB.
However, if you simply didn’t show up on your original exam day for personal reasons, that’s a different story. Candidates who were absent from their centres during the earlier exam are NOT eligible for the Mop Up Examination. Only candidates whose problems were formally documented qualify. If you’re not sure whether you’re eligible, the fastest way to find out is to try printing your slip. If it shows up, you’re in.
JAMB has officially set June 13, 2026, as the date for this exercise in its latest news: JAMB Issues Final UTME Date For Missed Candidates. The slip reprinting portal will be live from Saturday, 6th June 2026. On that date, all you need to do is print your slip. This guide explains how to do that.
Easy Ways to Print Your 2026 Mop Up Slip
There are two ways to do this.
Method 1: Use the Slip Printing Portal
- Open your browser: on your phone, tablet, or computer, and go to https://slipsprinting.jamb.gov.ng/printmopupexaminationslip
- Enter your details:
- Your JAMB Registration Number
- Your registered email address
- Your phone number on the JAMB profile
- Click “Print Examination Slip.” Your exam details will appear on screen with your name, venue, date, and time.
- Save and print. Either print directly if you have a connected printer, or click “Save as PDF” to download it to your device first. If you’re using a phone, save it to your files or send it to your email and print from a business center.
Tip: Print in color if you can. Your photograph appears on the slip and is used for identification. If color isn’t available, black and white is acceptable, just make sure the image is clear.
Method 2: Use the JAMB eFacility Portal
- Go to https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/Login
- Sign in with the email address and password linked to your JAMB profile
- Look for the “Print Main UTME Exam Slip” section
- Enter your registration details and print
If the slip does not load, make sure your internet connection is stable. Sometimes, simply refreshing the page solves the issue. You can also clear your browser’s cache or switch to a different browser. But if you are still stuck, walk into any JAMB accredited CBT center near you. The staff there can help you print it, though you will be charged for the service.
Things to Bring on Exam Day
Bring:
- Your printed exam slip (ideally two copies)
- A valid form of ID (National ID card, voter’s card, international passport, or school ID)
Do NOT bring:
- Your phone
- A calculator
- A wristwatch
- Pens or pencils
- Jewelry or accessories
The invigilators are strict. Leave everything that’s not on the approved list at home or in your bag outside. Also, make sure to arrive at least 45 minutes to an hour before your scheduled time.
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is printing the supplementary exam slip free?
A: Yes. Printing the slip is free on the JAMB portal. You only pay if you use a cyber café or CBT center to help you print.
Q: I wasn’t given a new exam date. Can I still check?
A: Yes, try logging in through either portal on the 6th of June. If your slip doesn’t appear, your case may not have been officially captured. In that case, contact JAMB’s support desk or visit your nearest JAMB office.
Q: What if my details don’t match the portal?
A: Double check that you’re entering the exact registration number, email, or phone number that you used during registration. If there’s still a mismatch, visit a JAMB accredited center or contact JAMB support. Do not wait until the day before the exam.
Q: Can I write the supplementary exam if I already have a result from the main UTME?
A: No. The supplementary exam is only for candidates whose results are pending, withheld, or who experienced technical issues during the main UTME. If you have a result, even a low one, you’re not eligible for the Mop Up.
Q: What happens after the Supplementary exam?
A: Your results will be processed and will be used during the JAMB admission process at Nigerian Tertiary Institutions. The supplementary exam follows the same CBT format and standards as the main exam.
