JAMB UTME Subject Combination for Sciences 2026

The UTME subject combinations for sciences is Biology, Chemistry
and Physics or Mathematics, with English Language being a compulsory subject.

Direct Entry Requirements

Two (2) ‘A’ Level passes chosen from Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Biology. NCE/ND/HND in related programmes plus the UTME requirements.

Special Considerations on Brochure Sciences

1. EBSU requires Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or Biology.
2. FUTA accept Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry only.
3. BENIN requires Mathematics, Physics and any of Biology, Chemistry, Agricultural Science and Economics.
4. LAUTECH requires ‘O’ Level credit passes to include English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
5. GOUU same as in Biological Sciences.
6. RENAISSANCE and PAUL require five (5) ‘O’ Level credit passes at not more than two (2) sittings including English Language, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
7. FUTA accepts; National Diploma with a minimum of Upper Credit or equivalent from recognized Polytechnic or College of Technology; or
8. GCE ‘A’ Level or equivalent with passes in Mathematics and at least one of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Agricultural Science at minimum of grade C.
9. BINGHAM and ILORIN require ‘A’ Level passes in Chemistry and Biology.
