With less than a week to go before the 2026 Mock Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has confirmed that examination slips are now available for printing, and candidates who have not yet accessed theirs should do so without delay.

The board announced on Monday via its official X handle, directing candidates to visit https://jamb.gov.ng, select the “2 Session 2026 MOCK SLIP PRINTING” option, and enter their registration number to generate and print their slip.

The Mock UTME holds on Saturday, 28 March 2026, and is open only to candidates who selected and paid for the mock option during the 2026 UTME registration exercise. Participation is optional, but for those who signed up, the examination serves as a full practice run in the computer based testing environment that will be used for the main UTME, scheduled to be held from 16 to 25 April 2026.

Printing the slip early is important for more than administrative reasons. The slip contains your examination date, centre, and session details, information you will need to plan your travel and arrival on the day. Candidates who show up at the wrong centre or at the wrong time cannot sit the examination.

Beyond logistics, the mock examination itself is worth taking seriously. The computer based format catches many first time candidates off guard, not because the questions are harder, but because the interface, timing, and navigation are unfamiliar. Candidates who use the mock to identify those gaps will be better placed when the actual examination opens on 16 April.

If you registered for the mock, your slip is ready. Print it now.
